Velvet touch

Velvet is definitely the textile of the season! Velvet clothes, boots and chokers were a common trend at Prada, Valentino, Alberta Ferretti and 3.1 Phillip Lim fashion shows. Last season velvet trend was predicted by Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, when he presented models wearing velvet chokers. Although velvet chokers were a must last summer, in the fall season designers show us that „the bigger the better”. You can wear velvet from head to toe, literally! My favorites are velvet jumpsuits and boots!

Ruffled sweaters, shirts and tops – I swear I could buy them all. Where the ruffles came from? From Stella McCartney runways and polish designer Magda Butrym newest collection (that you see in the picture). The most important polish designer made a collection that take us to Studio 54 in New York, 90-ties and gypsy culture! Well done!

If you ever wonder where all these ballerinas on the streets came from, I have the answer – Miu Miu. Who would have thought that this model will become a fashion lovers obsession?

I don’t have to say that the most important designer right now is Demna Gvasalia – creative director of Vetements and Balenciaga. Oversized hoodie and hooligan style was showed by him at mentioned earlier fashion shows. Those kind of jumpers are so popular right now that Gvasalia put them also in spring summer 2017 collection, so don’t hesitate buying them.

Frills and metallic where popular this summer. What happened of they joined into one piece? It will be a total blast, metallic skirt is my last fall must have. It is inspired by Gucci retro trend that happened to be still one of the most important ones. Go ahead and style metallic skirt with satin bomer jacket or a little less extravagant – classic white shirt. I will do the same way 🙂

Till next time!
